In remembrance of the contribution of Allama Muhammad Iqbal, the national poet, a great philosopher, a visionary thinker, a scholar and a great leader of Pakistan movement, whose ultimate vision, optimism and struggle led to the existence of Pakistan. He is widely known as Shair-e-Mashriq, Mufakkir-e-Pakistan and Hakeem-ul-Ummat.  On his 142 birth anniversary, an event was organized at CUI Wah Campus by Literary Society under the supervision of Ms Ambreen Nasir from Deptartment of Management Sciences on November 8, 2019.
The seminar on “Kalam-e-Iqbal Gosh Bar Awaz”, comprising a quiz competition, Iqbaliyat by the scholars and skit by the students aimed to illustrate the Iqbal’s message in its real sense to students. To promote the ideology of Iqbal, the students of BS (BA)-1 presented a skit. Quiz completion was also part of the event. The six teams participated in the quiz competition. The winning teams were awarded the certificates of appreciation by the Chief Guest, Prof. Dr Sajjad Madani, Director CUI Wah Campus. In his concluding remarks, the Director explained the purpose of Iqbal Day celebrations and the theme of Allama Muhammad Iqbal’s visionary poetry.
