It is submitted that the Islamic World Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (ICESCO) and Naif Arab University for Security Sciences (NAUSS) announce the call for participation in the international symposium on " Translation and Security: The Role of Translation in Enhancing National and International Security ".
This symposium aims to explore various dimensions of the role of translation in security, ranging from security-focused translation that supports intelligence and counterterrorism efforts to humanitarian translation contributing to the management of international crises. It will also examine the impact of modern technological advancements, such as artificial intelligence and machine translation, on the future of security and translation work, opening new opportunities for collaboration between security institutions and language experts.
This initiative aims to create an academic platform for researchers, experts, and decision-makers to discuss innovations, share experiences, and develop strategies for using translation to enhance global security and stability.

Participation Requirements

Papers must align with one of the symposium’s themes. • Submissions must be original, unpublished works.

Abstracts of no more than 300 words must be submitted in Arabic, English, or French.

Papers should be between 12 and 20 pages (3000-5000 words), formatted in Times New Roman, size 12 font.
