The Arba'een Pilgrimage is the world's largest annual public gathering that is held every year in Karbala, Iraq at the end of the 40-day mourning period following Ashura; the religious ritual for the commemora-tion of martyrdom of the grandson of Prophet Mohammad(s.a.w), the third Shia Muslim Imam, Hussain ibn Ali(a.s).
Millions take part in this Pilgrimage from all over the world and the number of pilgrims keep increasing every year. This thesis targets these pilgrims, to make their journey easy in every possible way. A mobile application has been designed to make their journey easy and memorable. It will help them find different places such as toilets, medical camps, hotels, resting places etc. The exclusive feature of this application is the tracking system. Thus, the 'Arbaeen' application will facilitate a pilgrim throughout the journey from Najaf to Karbala.
