Cleanliness is central to Islam as Allah SWT has repeatedly imposed its importance on us. Prophet Muhammad PBUH also declared cleanliness as half of our faith. The program 'Safai Nisf Iman' aims to reinforce the concept of cleanliness and one’s responsibility towards the environment in this respect i.e. waste management and segregation.
It is a program for all schools of Pakistan that targets 10-12 year olds, to educate them about effective waste segregation and empower them to implement it in their social circle. The visualized outcomes include a well aware future generation, responsible society, decreasing the amount of waste in dumps by 73% and help in achieving the SDGs 2030.
