Unveiling Sufism by The Conference of the Birds

The Conference of the Birds has been the epitome of Persian literature over the years, presenting the glorious erudition of Divine Love. Written by the one of the greatest Sufi mystic Farid ud din Attar, who metaphorically tried to unfold for the audience the inner meaning of spirituality.

Conversely though, the predominance of the audience tends to just observe the outer manifestations of the text rather than digging deep towards self-enlightenment. Therefore, this project aims to tackle the sensitivity of the text with illustrations, to be a guide for the reader to see beyond the materialistic infatuations of the world. Through imagery, this work shall attempt to unveil the mystic side to the masses who are disoriented by the complexity of the text. The illustrated Conference of the Birds with its unique projection is presented, to bring readers towards the concept of Divinity through the unfolding of the true meaning of the text.
