“Strokes of Serenity” is a series which combines shodo calligraphy with Quranic verses, aiming to visually express spiritual healing and the connection between the soul and its creator. Through mindful brushstrokes and the Quran's comforting verses, I find solace and achieve inner peace. Inking the Quran in the shodo style elevates the script, transforming the creation process into a spiritual practice that merges devotion with artistic expression. My thesis transcends cultural and religious boundaries, representing the tranquillity and spiritual connection fostered through this unique practice. It embodies the universal search for inner peace and spiritual growth. The purpose of my thesis is to inspire the viewers to contemplate the intricate script, enveloped by the peacefulness of both the Quran and shodo, and perhaps discover their own path to healing and spiritual exploration.
