A point of reference is always needed for a person to understand what someone goes through. Mental Health Conditions such as psychosis are viewed in a negative perception and society feels less empathy towards the patient and there is a lack of awareness towards Mental Health Conditions. This thesis project aims to immerse the viewer through an animation into the perspective of the person suffering from the condition. The animation also hints towards an effective coping mechanism (therapy) and portrays some of the major causes of psychosis. A self-expression kit will also be provided to the caretakers of the patient with psychosis. It will have a guidebook on how to handle the patient, an activity such as painting that the patient can do with their family so that the patient and the family’s relationship stays strong. Communication is a big problem patients face during psychosis therefore flash cards will be a part of the kit, so moods can be communicated to the family or care takers.
