Army of a country is front line of defense against external threats. Army performs many task which are invisible to the society and they are such people who are always ready to make their lives available for their country not only on borders but on humanitarian ground as well. I chose the topic of my thesis Pakistan Army families and their lives and the stories of their unheard sacrifices. For this purpose I interviewed officials, solders and their spouses, families of shuhada and veterans the main aim behind my effort was to highlight the hardships in difficulties through which the family go through either may it be transfer from one city to another, adjusting to new environments or the officers going on for duty. Through my documentary I wanted to pay homage to soldier’s martyrs their families and how they made supreme sacrifices in the line of duty. I tried to justify the concept of facilitating army families the compensations they are being given. I have tried to unfold their dedicated selfless characters behind their crisp khakis which one can’t compare with little facilities given to their families while they are on duty. I hope my little effort in acknowledging hardships of mil persons and their families will add a drop in making the ocean.
