Long Term
  1. Steward the CUI system with commitment and diligence, and ethical values of loyalty, integrity, and honesty, as well as ‘can do’ attitude.
  2. Contribute toward providing an enabling institutional environment which would be conducive to individual creativity and drive that in turn would ultimately lead to collective institutional excellence, manifested through, among others:
    • Production of well rounded and technically sound human resource and an enlightened citizenry for the country;
    • Extension of the frontiers of knowledge, especially in the promotion of sustainable utilization of precious resources like energy, water, air, and land; and c) promotion of the welfare, well being, and wholeness of the Institute, its employees, students as well as all other institutional members.
  3. Adapt and change appropriately with the changing environment, without having to compromise on the above stated tenets.
  4. ‘Rapid response,’ ‘service with smile,’ ‘empathy and compassion.’
  5. Promote good governance.
  6. Harmonize the functions of academic managers as well as non-academic managers.
  7. Set strategic directions for the system under guidance and directions from the statutory forums.
  8. Present positive face of the CUI system to the outside world in institutional interactions.
  9. Build corporate, brand image for the CUI system.
