Program Overview

“BS Auditing and Taxation” blends together Auditing and Taxation in business organization. To understand the complex and dynamic financial world it is imperative to be skeptical in both Auditing and Taxation. On a day-to-day basis the course allows mixing and sharing of experiences with a diverse group of people – all of whom have a common interest in Auditing and Taxation. This program aims to produce high quality graduates who are both critical and innovative. It would further aim to produce high technical skills as well as well-developed and polished decision making and problem-solving skills. This course takes our expertise in tax teaching and mixes it with some of the best aspects of our Auditing courses. The program will be structured around two core areas Auditing and Taxation. Department of Management Sciences CUI Islamabad proudly states that BS Auditing & Taxation Program is one of its kinds in Pakistan. It is a unique degree, which is not offered by any institution yet in local market. This program offers a high probability to increase market share, build better image and become market leader for CUI.

Program Objectives

A primary objective of this degree is

• To develop knowledgeable and capable executives and workforce
• To move quickly to key positions in the financial services sector
• To demonstrate the skills necessary to tackle problems within the complex world of international taxation and auditing.

Program Learning Outcomes

• A systematic understanding of knowledge in auditing and taxation and provision of interface between the knowledge and practice.
• A critical awareness of current problems and new insights in Auditing and Taxation.
• A comprehensive practical understanding of the techniques of enquiry and research used in the sector, and of how they are used to create and interpret knowledge.

Entry Requirements

• Prospective students need to register for preferred offered program through link http://admissions.comsats.edu.pk and submit soft copies of required documents.
• Intermediate or equivalent with minimum 50% marks, from an accredited institution.
• NTS with 50% marks as per CUI policy.
