The Department of Mechanical Engineering arranged a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Seminar on “Journal Article Publication: from preparation to Publication” to stipulate the learning skills of the students on November 24, 2022. The resource person Assistant Professor, Dr. Arslan Ahmed from the Department of Mechanical Engineering shared a comprehensive knowledge regarding recognizing the publishing process including ethical problems, identifying the steps for journal selection, writing cover letter and managing different forms of submission platforms, use of open access option and recognizing predatory journals and dealing with reviewers and editorial comments.

The graduate students from all engineering disciplines attended the seminar and took keen interest and interacted with the speaker. Dr. Atta Ur Rehman Chairman/Head Department of Mechanical Engineering presented CUI shield to the resource person with vote of thanks.
