1. Mustafa Prize (Deadline: 20 February 2026)
- Overview: The Mustafa Prize is a prestigious biennial award recognizing outstanding scientific achievements by Muslim scientists worldwide and scientists residing in Islamic countries.
- Categories:
- Life and Medical Science and Technology
- Basic and Engineering Sciences
- Eligibility:
- Muslim scientists globally or scientists from OIC member states (including Pakistan).
- Nominations must come from recognized institutions or prominent scientists (individual self-nomination is not allowed).
- Award: USD 500,000, medal, and certificate.
- Purpose: Honors groundbreaking research that advances knowledge and improves human life.

2. TWAS Young Affiliates Programme (Updated Criteria)
- Overview: TWAS selects up to 25 early-career scientists annually as Young Affiliates for a six-year tenure, offering networking and collaboration opportunities.
- Updated Eligibility:
- Age ≤ 40 with PhD OR PhD awarded within last 5 years (men) / 8 years (women), regardless of age.
- Must have resided and worked in a developing country for at least 3 years prior to nomination.
- Strong publication record; evaluation considers research quality and context.
