The Global Citizen Prize: Cisco Youth Leadership Award (Due Date: 17 December 2025)

Applications are now open for the Global Citizen Prize: Cisco Youth Leadership Award, aimed at recognizing exceptional individuals aged 18–30 who are leveraging technology to help end extreme poverty.
The award carries a US $250,000 grant, which will be disbursed to the organization affiliated with the selected individual. Applicants from all countries are eligible except those residing in regions sanctioned by the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) or any other U.S. government entities restricting transfer of funds. The affiliated organization must be a registered legal entity (non-profit, for-profit, B-corp, or social enterprise).

Submissions will be evaluated based on five criteria: Impact, Vision, Catalyst, Global Citizenship, and Technology Innovation. Applicants must demonstrate measurable results achieved at scale over the past 3–5 years in advancing one or more Global Goals.
Up to five finalists will be chosen and required to submit three letters of recommendation (or short video endorsements under two minutes) from:
