On the directions of Head (IO), Dr. Hammad Omer, T.I., I take privilege to forward a communication received from the Higher Education Commission (HEC) on the captioned subject.
HEC has solicited proposals, along with action plans, for cooperation and partnerships with Turkish Counterparts for initiating potential collaborations.
In fact, during the 16th Session of the Pakistan-Turkiye Joint Ministerial Commission (JMC) held on September 8-9, 2025, in Islamabad, both Governments agreed to expand cooperation and partnerships in various domains, including higher education.
Likewise, to comply with the decision points (7.1 & 7.13-as per attached protocol) relating to cooperation in the field of education and higher education, HEIs have been encouraged to explore opportunities for collaboration with Turkish institutions and share proposals accordingly.
In this regard, you are kindly requested to disseminate this information among the Faculty members of your valued Campus and submit the proposals along with actions plans (through the Campus Director) to this office by 28 October 2025, before 12:00 Noon, for onward submission to HEC for their consideration.
