Description:

The Konrad Adenauer Foundation (KAS) Scholarship 2025 offers financial support of up to €1,400 per month for postgraduate and doctoral students at leading German universities. This scholarship is open to students from 55 countries, promoting intercultural dialogue and international networks. The application deadline is July 15, 2025.

Course Level: Masters, PhD

Subject(s): Any eligible subject offered by the university.

Grants: Master’s students receive €934 per month (funding for up to two years).

· PhD students receive €1,400 per month (funding for up to three years).

· Health insurance subsidy (up to €120 per month).

· Family allowance (€276 per month if spouse earns under €450/month).

· Child allowance (€194 per child if living in Germany).

· Tuition fee reimbursement (up to €1,500 per semester).

· Networking & mentorship through KAS’s global alumni and university groups.

Eligibility criteria: Have a bachelor’s degree (for master’s applicants) or a master’s degree (for PhD applicants).

· Demonstrate academic excellence.

· Possess at least B2-level German language proficiency.

· Be actively engaged in voluntary work or social commitment.

· Plan to study in Germany for at least four semesters.

· Show a strong interest in politics, democracy, and human rights.

Application procedure:

· Completed online application form.

· CV (Tabular format) with voluntary work details.

· Motivation letter.

· Academic transcripts (translated into German or English).

· University admission letter from a German institution.

· Proof of German language skills (minimum B2 level).

· Academic recommendation letter (from a university professor or PhD supervisor).

· Personal recommendation letter (highlighting values and social commitment).

Deadline: July 15, 2025 (final deadline for 2025 scholarships).
