The Department of Civil Engineering conducted a 'Survey Camp' for Fall 2022 intake students from August 5-19, 2024, in Abbottabad. The camp was led by Assistant Professor Dr. Danish Farooq, along with Lecturers, Engr. Sarmad Manzoor and Engr. Waleed Tariq guided students in practical land surveying techniques using modern survey instruments.
Throughout the camp, students gained hands-on experience in various surveying tasks, such as contouring, plane tabling, road alignment, fly leveling, traversing, and triangulation. They applied their skills effectively, with their field data and survey sheets carefully reviewed and collected.
