Back in July 2016, I had seen the building of Main Block, CUI SWL Campus on its official website. After checking the fee structure, I said to myself  "I wish I could afford to study in this institute".  I am highly thankful for the COMSATS University Islamabad, Sahiwal Campus  to give me an opportunity to study on the Talent Hunt Scholarship throughout my studies at COMSATS.

This was a long time coming, but I’m pleased to announce that I have graduated from the COMSATS University Islamabad Sahiwal Campus with a Bachelor's in Software Engineering (High Distinction). The journey of the past 4 years has been nothing short of an exciting roller-coaster ride! I have had the chance to meet many young and brilliant minds in my field and learn from world-class faculty members. I am truly grateful for all the friends, family, and faculty who have helped me become who I am today.

Before the final year ,  I had started working with Techno Homes which is a UK based software house. In my professional development Techno Homes has played a vital role. I have worked on trending technologies in my studies with them.

Shukar ALHAMDULILAH ! Being awarded the Institute Bronze & Campus Gold Medal, for graduating at the top of my batch, has made me reflect on my time at CUI. I was given a platform to challenge and grow myself as a professional.
Overall, I take immense pride in being part of the Class of 2020. We are a resilient generation of individuals. In the years to come, I hope that I can deliver value not only for myself but for everyone in the software development community!

Best Regards,

I am currently serving as the Manager (Fiber/DRS) Operations (Divisional Engineer) at Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited, a role that demands technical expertise, strategic planning, and seamless coordination across multiple teams. The foundation of my success can be traced back to the strong academic and practical training I received from the Electrical Engineering Department at COMSATS University Islamabad, Sahiwal Campus. Graduating with a degree in Electrical Engineering in 2018, I was honored with a Silver Medal for my academic achievements, a reflection of my dedication and the high-caliber education provided by this esteemed institution. The diverse skill set I developed at COMSATS has been crucial to advancing my career. The combination of theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience prepared me to tackle complex challenges and drive innovative solutions within the telecom industry. Beyond technical expertise, my time at the university played a vital role in refining my interpersonal and leadership abilities. Engaging with exceptional faculty and participating in collaborative projects fostered strong communication skills, which have proven invaluable in my ability to navigate and lead in corporate environments. The personality development and rigorous training offered by CUI Sahiwal went far beyond the classroom, shaping me into a confident and adaptive professional. This prestigious institute has given me much more than just an academic degree—it has provided a robust platform for lifelong learning, growth, and the capacity to make meaningful contributions to my industry and beyond. For that, I am profoundly grateful.

Hi! Peace be on all of you!
Dear All! Currently I am serving Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission. It is pleasure for me that my university groomed me so well that the time when I am selected for JOB is rightly that time when I am the final semester student of Mechanical Engineering Department. Although I am in need of PEC Certification to continue my job with PAEC [In-Sha-Allah] but still I am here presenting my warm thanks to my teachers especially Dr. Zahiruddin Sheikh. Ahhh! My Parents, they sacrificed many time their appetite and comfort to make me 'Ammar Aziz'.  My advice to upcoming students is that always work for a cause. Don't go for materialistic goals. Always try to be purposeful by following the commandments of Allah. Studying with purpose is full of enjoyment.  Believe me I have done it and got a Silver Medal!

“Might not too much investment in teaching Shelley mean falling behind our economic competitors? But there is no university without humane inquiry, which means that universities and advanced capitalism are fundamentally incompatible. And the political implications of that run far deeper than the question of student fees.”

The life at COMSATS can be described as an era full of creative learning. Although we are still developing but that is the thing that distinguishes us (COMSIANS) from other. The quest for excellence in the relevant field is embedded through friendly learning environemnt. COMSATS is not about buildings and facilities, It is all about the interactive environment, that is composed of Teachers, Students and Administrative Staff and backed up by high moral values. May Allah enhance the status of this institute by strengthning its moral and technical roots.

By: MUHAMMAD AFZAL GUJJAR  From: Sahiwal Campus

I completed my graduate degree with a major in FINANCE at the COMSATS, located in the heart of the SAHIWAL.

I chose to study in SAHIWAL because the COMSATS stood out above the rest. I had offers from other universities, but the CIIT has a great reputation internationally, and had the specific course I wanted to do.

I like the hands-on approach of the courses at CIIT because it has taken my learning beyond theory. I have learnt to apply my knowledge through experiences like giving presentations, working in teams, and active involvement in our tutorials. I feel better prepared to get into the workforce because of it.

I also like that our lecturers use real-life examples in their teaching and the fact that lectures are held twice at different times.

The IT infra-structure is good and the Teachers are really helpful. Blackboard (an interactive platform with links to course notes, student contacts, discussion forums, etc.) works really well.

I think that the Faculty invests a lot in its students; they really look after us. I love the environment here - the CIIT is centrally located and has beautiful green parks and great places to relax and to have coffee. I've met so many nice people here. The experience has broadened my horizon and really changed my view about many things.

My advice to prospective students is that, when you come to the Ciit SAHIWAL, don't be afraid to venture out and join clubs and societies. You will experience living amongst people from many and make lifelong friends. Coming here was the best decision I've made so far.

MUHAMMAD AFZAL GUJJAR.
MASTER OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION.
