ENGINEERING MATERIAL LAB
The Engineering Materials Lab introduces students to basic properties of building materials such as aggregates, cement, concrete, mortars, timber, polymers, & adhesives. There is an emphasis on measurement of load-deformation characteristics and failure modes of both natural and fabricated materials. The testing procedures are based on the ASTM standards.
