Counseling Services

The Islamabad Campus boasts a functional Counseling and Wellness Center comprising of certified psychiatrists. Counseling services at the university are designed to support the mental health and well-being of students as they navigate the challenges of academic and personal life. These services aim to provide a safe and confidential space for students to discuss their concerns and receive professional guidance. Our counseling and wellness center is dynamic and adapts to the evolving needs of the students. We offer one-on-one sessions through which we honor the privacy of students and address their personal, academic, or emotional concerns. We also provide immediate support for students facing urgent or crisis situations, such as severe emotional distress or thoughts of self-harm.

Sports Centre  

The Sports center at our University is more than just a place to break a sweat. Located at the south side near gate No. 3, the Sports Center is a dynamic space dedicated to promoting physical well-being, fostering sportsmanship, and providing a platform for students, faculty, and staff to engage in a wide range of athletic pursuits. Students’ Association/Societies

Student societies in a university play a vital role in enhancing the overall educational experience by providing students with opportunities to engage in a wide range of extracurricular activities. The scope of student societies is extensive, contributing to the holistic development of individuals and fostering a vibrant and inclusive campus community. These societies contribute significantly to the university experience by creating avenues for personal growth, social interaction, and the development of a well-rounded, engaged citizenry. The focus of student societies is wide and varied and offers opportunities for all students to get engaged in societies which suits their interests. The scope of ongoing societies covers areas such as academic focused societies, professional development, cultural and international exchange, arts, and creativity, sports and recreation, community service, technology, environment and sustainability, religious matters and so on and so forth.

About SFAO

The SFAO at CUI Islamabad Campus was established with the motto to help ease the pressure of financial matters for students so that they can keep themselves focused on their studies instead of other financial hardships. Whether it's rewarding the academic performance with a scholarship or helping students make ends meet in times of need, the SFAO has opportunities supported by Higher Education Commission, various government agencies, donor agencies, philanthropist organizations, Alumni associations etc. In this regard, the campus follows a transparent framework for disbursement of scholarships. Once scholarships are granted by donors, they are disseminated among students. There is pre- Institutional Scholarship Award Committee (ISAC) which scrutinizes the applications and recommends the deserving students to receive scholarships.
