The South Asian International Conference (SAICON) was first organized in 2010 by the Department of Management Sciences, COMSATS University Islamabad. Since then, SAICON has become a leading multidisciplinary platform in South Asia, bringing together academics, researchers, industry professionals, and policymakers to engage in meaningful dialogue and collaborative research.
Over the years, SAICON has addressed a wide range of contemporary issues through diverse themes, focusing on management, economics, social sciences, technology, and innovation. The 10th SAICON Conference, held in 2018 in Islamabad, Pakistan, marked a significant milestone with the theme “Creating Niche in the Knowledge Economy,” highlighting the growing importance of innovation and specialization in the modern economic landscape.
Building on this legacy, the 11th SAICON Conference is scheduled to take place on 14th July 2025, with the theme “Bridging Business, Technology, and Innovation for a Sustainable Future.” This upcoming conference aims to explore the intersection of business practices, technological advancements, and innovative strategies to promote sustainable development in a rapidly changing world. In this era of rapid technological evolution navigating the future requires a proactive approach to innovation across multiple domains. Businesses must adapt to digital transformation, finance must integrate fintech advancements, and entrepreneurs must leverage emerging technologies to stay competitive. Sustainability is no longer optional; it is a necessity for long-term growth and responsible governance. Understanding and implementing these innovations will be crucial in shaping a resilient, forward-thinking global economy. This conference will provide a comprehensive platform to discuss and strategize on how industries can embrace these changes and drive meaningful progress.
With a strong emphasis on knowledge exchange and regional collaboration, SAICON continues to play a vital role in shaping research agendas and fostering partnerships across South Asia and beyond.
