Pakistan, Sustainable Development Goal-16 “Peace
Justice and Strong Institutions” an “International
Peace Week” was organized to recognize the efforts of those who have worked
hard to seek the end conflict and promote peace. The International Peace Day was
celebrated from September 27-28, 2018 at COMSATS University Islamabad, Wah Campus.
In this connection, special events were organized by the Department of
Management Sciences in which the students actively participated, expressed
their views and messages on the importance of peace and tolerance through skits/quizzes
competition, talk shows, debate / speech competitions, peace songs, drawing /
painting competitions. A peace walk was also arranged by the faculty members
and students at Campus.
