Program Overview

BS(BA) also known as BBA program is one of the flagship programs of Department of Management Sciences that gives students a rigorous insight into business administration from both a holistic as well as methodological perspective. Program purely focuses on grooming the personality of our students and sharpening their communication skills. CUI expects that its students not only be thoroughly familiar with all essential and current business concepts and practices, but are also able to think analytically and innovatively. After completing their degrees, graduates may be able to judiciously apply their acquired knowledge in practical situations, they may encounter as an entrepreneur or in a professional context.

Our BBA program spans 139 credit hours and includes course modules in all major business administration subject areas. In addition, CUI offers a large number of electives from which our students can freely choose. The minimum duration for completion of BBA Degree is eight semesters and a maximum of twelve semesters. It is awarded on completion of 139 Credits hours with a minimum CGPA of 2.0/4.0. Furthermore, the students also complete an internship of three credit hours.

Program Objectives

The objectives for this degree program are to:

• Making students capable to identify, formulate, and solve business problems using appropriate methodologies and tools.
• Imparting knowledge on the deep cross functional integration of organization and its contribution towards value delivery network.
• To develop well informed ethically aware professionals who could contribute positively to the community.

Program learning Outcomes:

Business Knowledge: Demonstrate in-depth understanding of business management concepts which could provide the foundation for effective managerial skills. These concepts may include theories of management, human resource management, accountancy, financial management, supply chain management, marketing management and management information system.

Leadership Skills: Demonstrate leadership in maximizing employee productivity through effective communication skills to clearly understand and convey various business situations. Building professional relationships based on mutual trust and respect. Understand the importance of teamwork and group dynamics in achieving organizational goals. Making decisions based on the most appropriate resources to collect the business data, handle and delegate responsibilities, gain feedback, and be flexible to solve problems in an ever-changing workplace.

Entrepreneurial Acumen: Demonstrate the understanding of entrepreneurship and the capability of managing an enterprise effectively and efficiently. Developing new opportunities to secure and manage various resources for business success.

Business Ethics & Responsibility: Demonstrate an ability to understand the impact of business solutions in societal and environmental contexts. Exhibit the knowledge and need for sustainable development with having awareness of ethical and socially responsible business practices.

Admission Process and Entry Requirements

• Intermediate or equivalent with minimum 50% marks, from an accredited institution. NTS with 50% marks as per CUI policy.
