Professor, Dr. Tomonori Kato from Department of Intelligent Mechanical Engineering, Fukuoka Institute of Technology, Japan, visited CUI Wah Campus on December 19, 2019. The Dean,  Faculty of Engineering/HoD Mechanical Engineering, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Abid along with senior faculty members welcomed the guest. He briefed visiting guest on CUI Wah Campus, Mechanical Engineering Department facilities and laboratories equipped with the state of the art facilities in the region. The HoD further discussed  future avenues of mutual cooperation between two educational institutions on faculty exchange and Graduate Students Scholarships. Prof. Kato had an interactive meeting with faculty members where he discussed future research collaboration opportunities, introduced his research activities in the field of Robotics,  Pneumatics and research facilities available at Fukuoka Institute of Technology. Professor Kato has shown laboratories. He appreciated the facilities provided. At the end the HoD acknowledged Dr. Tomonori Kato for taking his time out for visiting CUI Wah Campus and presented Campus souvenir to visiting guest.
