Department of Mechanical Engineering arranged first CPD activity of semester Fall 2019 duly approved by Pakistan Engineering Council titled “Manufacturing and Testing of Composite Materials” on Thursday 26th September, 2019. Eng. Imran Ghumman from HITEC University, Taxila was the invited keynote speaker. Eng. Imran has a very strong grip on Composite Materials. During the workshop he explained about the different methodologies used for making different types of composites along with their practical applications. Overall 145 Students from DME, Faculty and Professionals from Bestway Cement, Farooqia & HMC, Taxila attended the workshop. Faculty and students from DME thanked COMSATS Wah Campus administration and HoD Mechanical, E-Rozgar Management and Speaker Engr. Imran for such an interactive and applied lecture. Dr. Ejaz Bashir from HMC, Taxila also visited DME labs and showed his interest for joint collaborations. Dr. Abid presented COMSATS shield to Engr. Imran Ghumman.
