The Department of Mechanical Engineering arranged industrial visit of BS (ME)- first semester (section A-B) students to KSB Pumps Company Ltd, Hassanabdal on January 16 & 23, 2019 under the supervision of faculty members. The students visited the machine shop to observed different machining operations, foundry section where they were guided about the complex details and processes involved in a casting operation. The students also observed different tests that are performed on casted parts in a laboratory. In the last, the students visited the services section and learnt how the defective parts are repaired and what exclusive services are provided by the KSB Hassanabdal.
