On December 13, 2018, students of Section-B along with Faculty members of Department of Mechanical Engineering, CUI Wah campus visited BESTWAY Cement Plant a one of Pakistan’s leading cement manufacturing plant at Farooqia.
This plant has recently upgraded from 3500 ton production to 10000 ton and the students were able to see the different operations and sections of the plant in detail from mining to packing and loading. In addition, waste heat recovery process of 12MW implemented by BESTWAY was a great learning experience for faculty and students. They also learned how important is our environment and its preservation.
