A seminar was arranged to explore the importance of telecommunication and its future trends by the Department of Computer Science, CIIT Islamabad. The aim of this event is to guide students toward importance of telecommunication and career development opportunities in the area of telecommunication.

The key speaker is Umar Gul from Center of Development & Excellence (CODE) who participated in Job Fair 2014 as well. He highlighted on "New Technologies and Scope in Telecommunication and Networks" and "Career Development Skills for students". At CODE, they are providing professional training in different IT domains; apart from the designed curriculum, trainees are involved in real time industry projects which enhance their capability to contribute even better.
