Master of Science (MS) in Economics


The program is intended to develop skills in economic theories and principles and the mathematical and statistical tools required to carry out research and complex analyses. The program is designed to provide quality education with a focus on research and to equip students with the art of living as productive members of society, contributing to the socio-economic uplift of Pakistan. Admission Requirements:

  • The minimum eligibility criteria for MS Economics program is:

Minimum 75% marks in relevant sixteen years of education in annual system.


Minimum 3.5 CGPA in BS or equivalent in semester system.

Scholarships available:


  • 75 % marks in relevant sixteen years of education in annual system, and 3.5 CGPA (BS or Equivalent) in semester system.
  • To maintain scholarship, students will be required to maintain minimum CGPA of 3.00 and no “C” grade or below in any course in any semester.
  • If CGPA falls below 3.00 and a “C” grade or below is obtained in course of semester, the scholarship will be suspended.
