The Department of Mechanical Engineering organized a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) workshop on "Team Work & Leadership" on February 18, 2025. This PEC-approved CPD activity was conducted by Engr. Yasir Abbas, General Manager at Air Weapons Complex, NESCOM.

The workshop aimed to empower professionals with essential leadership skills to face future challenges. Engr. Yasir Abbas, an expert in project management, engineering, and strategic planning, shared his insights on teamwork, team building, leadership styles, and team dynamics. Participants gained a historical perspective on leadership and explored the stages of team development. The session also emphasized great team indicators and the significance of sharing experiences in professional environments.

The workshop attracted engineering professionals, faculty members, and students eager to enhance their leadership and teamwork abilities. The interactive session provided valuable takeaways on how effective teamwork leads to organizational success. The event was coordinated by Engr. Arsalan Hussain, Lecturer DME, who ensured smooth organization and engagement throughout the session.

At the conclusion of the workshop, Director Campus, Prof. Muhammad Abid, T.I., and Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Dr. Arslan Ahmed, presented the guest speaker a souvenir as a token of appreciation for his exceptional contribution to the event. The gesture highlighted the university's commitment to recognizing and honoring excellence in professional development and leadership.
