Senior NoSQL Database Engineer at InteliwareTech 

Position: Senior NoSQL Database Engineer

Role Overview:
The Company is seeking an experienced Database Engineer specializing in NoSQL databases and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure). This role involves designing, managing, and optimizing cloud-based NoSQL environments to ensure secure, scalable, and high-performance data operations.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Design, configure, and maintain MongoDB, DynamoDB, and DocumentDB (AWS/Azure)

·        Optimize NoSQL data models, indexes, and query performance

·        Implement replication, sharding, scaling, backup, and recovery strategies

·        Automate deployments and management with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)

·        Integrate NoSQL databases with AWS/Azure cloud services

·        Monitor database health and troubleshoot performance issues

·        Stay updated with emerging NoSQL and cloud technologies

Requirements:

·        7+ years of database experience with strong focus on NoSQL

·        Hands-on expertise in MongoDB & DynamoDB (replica sets, sharding, GSIs, auto-scaling, aggregation)

·        Solid experience with AWS (DynamoDB, DocumentDB, MongoDB Atlas) and/or Azure Cosmos DB

·        Strong skills in data modeling, disaster recovery, and performance optimization

·        Familiarity with IaC tools (Terraform, GitHub, Vault) and containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes)

·        (Bonus) Knowledge of time-series databases (InfluxDB, TimeStream)

·        Bachelors/Master Degree in Computer Science , IT , Software Engineering, Data Science or a related field.

Engagement Details:

·        Remote role (Pakistan)

·        US Timezone alignment required (8:00 PM – 5:00 AM PKT)

·        Full-time: 8 hours/day (Mon–Fri)

·        Contract length: 12 months

·        Job Type: Full-time, Contract

Experience Required:

·        NoSQL/AWS/Azure: 6+ years (Required)
