Monash University Australian Government RTP Scholarships 2026 is open for International Students, Domestic Students. The scholarship allows Masters, PhD level program(s) in the field of All Subjects taught at Monash University. The Australian Government offers Research Training Program (RTP) Scholarships to support both domestic and international students who are pursuing Research Doctorate and Research Masters degrees. This program provides a RTP Stipend, which is a living allowance to assist students with their living costs while studying at Monash University.

Grants:          Monash Silver Jubilee Scholarship:

• Annual living allowance: $39,820.
• Relocation allowance: $550.
• Research allowance per annum: $1,500.

Monash Research Training Program:

• Annual living allowance: $33,000.
• Relocation allowance: $1,500.

Monash Graduate Scholarship:

• Annual living allowance: $33,000.
• Relocation allowance: $1,500.

Eligibility:      Required Language: English

• English Language Test requirements for General: (6.5) overall (no band less than 6.0) in IELTS, and (79 +) Reading 13, Listening 12, Speaking 18 & Writing 21 in TOEFL.
• English Language Test requirements for Arts, Business and Economics: (7) overall (no band less than 6.5) in IELTS, and (94 +) Reading 19, Listening 20, Speaking 20 & Writing 24 TOEFL.           

• This scholarship is open to international students of all nationalities.
• To be considered, applicants must have a bachelor's degree.
• Scholarship selection is based on an applicant's academic record, research output, and prior research experience.
• Mandatory English language requirements must be met.
