The OIC-COMSTECH (Ministerial Standing Committee for Scientific and Technological Cooperation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation), RAEE (The Russian Association of Earthquake Engineering and Protection from the Natural and Manmade Hazards), and the (NED University of Engineering & Technology) are jointly organizing a 2-weeks Training Course on “The Disaster Resilient Structure” at the NED University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi, Pakistan (Flyer is attached).

This collaborative effort between our esteemed organizations is aimed at enhancing the capabilities in disaster resilience and sustainable engineering practices. The training course seeks to address various hazards such as earthquakes, floods, fires, and tsunamis with a focus on fostering a deeper understanding of risks to infrastructure, communities, and societies, along with the strategies for mitigation and sustainable development.

It is anticipated that approximately 10-12 National and International Specialist will train about 30 to 40 national and international participants. The NED University will provide airport pick-up and drop-off, and lodging/ boarding during you stay in Karachi.
