CCRD participated in GIS Day at IIUI

CCRD members attended the seminar on GIS day 11 November 2022 organised by Environment Science Department of Islamic international University Islamabad in collaboration with Snow Leopard Foundation.

The theme of the seminar was "Role of GIS in Education   and Conservation". CCRD members Dr. Toqeer Ahmed, Mr. Shoaib and Ms. Saima attended the seminar on GIS Day.  Dr. Zafeer Saqib Associate Professor at Environmental science Department Islamic international University Islamabad was one of the speaker of the Seminar. He presented his recent Research work related to GIS. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Irfan Khan, Dean and Chairman of Environmental Science Department also participated in this seminar and spoke about the importance of GIS in education. The chief guest of the Seminar was DG forest Mr. Niaz Ali Kakar who spoke about the use of GIS in different fields.
