Lahore Forum: “Pakistan Sey Paris: On the road to 2015 Paris Climate Conference” from 13th - 14th October, 2015 in Lahore

The Centre for Climate Research and Development (CCRD), COMSATS Institute of Information Technology (CIIT), in collaboration with the Embassy of France and a number of other environmental NGOs and civil society organizations, is organizing a Climate Forum, titled “Pakistan Sey Paris:  On the road to 2015 Paris Climate Conference” from 13th - 14th October, 2015 in Lahore, Pakistan.


In the run up to the 2015 Paris Climate Conference (COP21) that will take place in December 2015 in Paris, this Climate Forum offers an unprecedented opportunity to all Pakistani stakeholders to coordinate their action. The aim of the event is to reach one of the goals of the Lima-Paris Action Agenda: to create a sustainable partnership between civil societies, local authorities and private sector together with the government in order to find and implement solutions to mitigate or adapt to climate change. Showcasing “Made in Pakistan” solutions to tackle climate change will be one of the objectives of the forum. Four round tables: Low Carbon Development; Adapting to Climate Change; Climate Risk Management and Climate Smart Solutions, will welcome renowned experts, policy makers, as well as solution implementers.
