14th International Symposium on Advanced Materials (www.isampk.com.pk)
12-16 October 2015
National Centre for Physics, Islamabad, Pakistan
For more than two decades now, the International Symposium on Advanced Materials (ISAM) has become a regular biennial event for the scientific community. ISAM strives to offer dynamic researchers an international milieu to share and discuss their achievements in the field of advanced materials, besides providing researchers an interlude from the monotony at their workplaces. Scientists and researchers from Pakistan and other countries including USA, Germany, Saudi Arabia, Canada, UK, Singapore, Malaysia, Turkey, Egypt, Jordan, Oman, China, Bangladesh, Korea, Poland and UAE participated and presented their cutting-edge research. There were about 300 presentations in three parallel sessions.
The Symposium has also organized various awards including Poster and Oral Presentation Competitions and Innovative Nanostructure Competition, for participants registered at ISAM-2015. The best three competitors in all categories have been awarded certificates and cash prizes decided by the jury of international experts.
It has been an honour for the COMSATS Institute of Information Technology (CIIT) in general and the Department of Physics at COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, Islamabad, that our students / researchers won the awards in each category after a tough competition.
This is an appreciation of high quality research work being done at the Department of Physics, CIIT.
It is also worth mentioning that all these awardees belong to Applied Thermal Physics Laboratory (Supervised by Dr. Muhammad Anis-ur-Rehman), Department of Physics at CIIT, Islamabad.
The details are mentioned below.
