As per directives of Worthy Rector COMSATS Institute of Information  Technology (CIIT), the SSBC program has now been launched at CIIT  Sahiwal campus. The Director campus Prof. Dr. Saleem Farooq Shaukat  proudly announced the launch of SSBC on 7th December 2016 in his  address to all the students, faculty and staff of CIIT Sahiwal.

The ORIC team from Islamabad, comprising of Mr. M. Raza Ahmad Khan  (Executive Director SSBC), Dr. Faheem A. Qureshi (GM ORIC R & D) and  Ms. Zainab Bilal (Coordinator SSBC) visited Sahiwal campus for  conducting awareness sessions regarding SSBC?s establishment. They  briefed the students regarding the value and potential impact of  Entrepreneurship in Pakistan and introduced them to the opportunities  that have been made available to them through the launch of this  flagship program of ORIC.

The ORIC team also met with the academic heads from all Departments  and discussed the need and the purpose of establishment of SSBC as an  entrepreneurial support structure at CIIT. Mr. Bilal Hanif has been  appointed as the In charge SSBC- Sahiwal to oversee all activities  through this platform at CIIT Sahiwal campus.
