Dr. Hammad Omer T.I., Head International Office, COMSATS University Islamabad, participated in the HEC-led Pakistan–Bangladesh Knowledge Corridor visit to Bangladesh from 23 November to 03 December 2025. As part of the delegation, he represented CUI at the Higher Education Expos held across Dhaka, Sylhet, Chittagong, and Rajshahi. The CUI booth drew strong interest from prospective students, including over 500 visitors in Dhaka, with particular demand for MS and PhD programs in AI, Biotechnology, Engineering, and related fields. The visit formally commenced with a dinner hosted by H.E. Imran Haider, High Commissioner of Pakistan to Bangladesh, who appreciated CUI’s academic contributions and ensured all facilitation.

Dr. Omer also delivered expert talks on “Enhancing Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) using AI” at Bangladesh Medical University (BMU) and North South University (NSU), each attended by over 200 faculty members, researchers, and students. Both universities expressed strong interest in advancing academic and research collaboration with CUI. The Vice Chancellor of Bangladesh Medical University particularly expressed his interest in advancing discussions on formal cooperation in Artificial Intelligence and Medical Imaging with CUI. The BMU representatives expressed deep appreciation for the seminar conducted by Dr. Hammad Omer, observing that its themes were closely aligned with their institutional priorities. The visit substantially strengthened CUI’s international profile and set a solid foundation for advancing future collaborative initiatives.
