AboutI started my tech journey at COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus, where I got my BSc in Computer Science back in 2020. During my time there. I was the class CR and had a bunch of amazing friends like family(literally)! Our(Hasham, Me, Rija) final year was pretty exciting - we won first prize along with 100,000Rs at All Pakistan DICE IET 2020 competing against 350+ projects, got 3rd place out of 101 projects at our campus Final Year Project Evaluation, and earlier in November 2019, Me and Haris won first place in web development at VisioSpark 2019 in COMSATS Wah. I was also the center-back of the football team and played with legends like Hasham, Talha, Gondal, AT, Rao, Gajju and won inter campus football tourni at COMSATS Sahiwal. I was kind of good at nutmegs too. Right after graduating, I joined I2C Inc. as a Software Engineer from February 2020 to September 2022 and in September 2022, I decided to level up my skills and started my Master's in Computer Science at LUMS. While studying, I also worked as a Research Assistant at their SDSA Lab until June 2024. I took deep dives into Data Mining, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Generative AI. At the lab, I got to work with all sorts of cool sensors and cameras, and helped solve some tricky data problems. Now, since July 2024, I'm working as an AI Engineer at PureLogics. I get to play with the latest AI tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and BERT. I'm building AI solutions using Python and frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch. I also work with something called RAG systems (using tools like LlamaIndex and Langchain) - basically fancy ways to make AI systems smarter. These days, I split my time between coding in Python and Java, working with AI tools, and staying up to date with all the new AI stuff coming out. I also work as a Full Stack Dev for a remote company as well as working on projects from Upwork. Looking back, COMSATS gave me an awesome start in tech and friends. It's where I first got excited about using technology to solve real problems, something I still love doing today. The competitions I won there really helped boost my confidence and showed me I was on the right path. I miss playing football matches with the boys and hanging out behind the cafe after classes.
