Entrepreneurial Expo 2024
On 24th December 2024, The Young Entrepreneurship Society (YES) successfully organized an Entrepreneurial Expo at COMSATS University Islamabad, Attock Campus. The vision of YES society is to Nurture, Inspire and Empower young leadership of the society so the event was organized to showcase the creativity and talent of students. 38 students have presented 38 different ground breaking ideas. Event was held under the supervision of Associate Professor Dr. Syed Asim Shah who acted as the advisor to the cabinet of YES society from class of Entrepreneurship.
The event was inaugurated by the Director of COMSATS University Islamabad, Attock Campus Professor DR. Junaid Mughal (T.I) and chief guest MR. Ayub Zakori (CEO at Zakori Group, WBAF Senator, and Country chairperson IAP), along with other honorable guests MR. Sahibzada Haider Jan (Planning officer for Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa), Miss Marina Khan(Training and Development lead at NETSOL Technologies), Miss Tashfeen Zia (Deputy Registrar at Shaheed Benazir University) and DR Hamida (Assistant Professor at Shaheed Benazir University) and all the guests were warmly welcomed by the whole cabinet of YES society.
- The first idea was presented by Jibran Attiq which was to establish a brand LEAPURE of leather products which are made from leathers sourced from Halal certified animals, and export them to capture Muslim customers from European and American markets
- The second idea was presented by Laiba who wanted to develop a platform IDEANOVA where people can share their entrepreneurial and business ideas and can be linked to potential investors and partners
- Third idea was presented by M. Omair who wanted to develop an app PATHFINDER which will help people to organize their trips and will help them to show hidden and unidentified spots for camping in hilly areas
- Fourth idea was presented by Fareeba who wanted to establish a company CARECREW SERVICES, which will have a trained staff and will provide home care services
