Open House & Job Fair Fall 2024 at CUI Attock Campus
Open house & Job Fair Fall 2024 was held at CUI Attock on 19th December 2024 (Thursday). Rector CUI, Prof Dr Sajid Qamar was the Chief guest who inaugurated the event along with Director campus and Principal Officers. 32 companies from various industries ranging from FMCG, banking, services, health, education and telecom sector visited the university. The representatives from the industries evaluated the Final year projects of students and conducted interviews for jobs/internships.
The industry representative’s response was highly satisfactory, and the guests were delighted with student projects and their skills. 33 projects were displayed by the final semester students, 16 projects were from the students of computer Science, 12 from the students of Software Engineering while 5 projects were from Mathematics department.
About 120 graduating students appeared for job interviews out of which 20+ were shortlisted for final interviews while 5 students were hired for jobs on the spot.
The Open house & Job Fair kicked off with a small opening ceremony at 10:00 AM where guests were briefed about the projects and event plan. Later on, the industry representatives visited the student projects and conducted interviews of students. Rector CUI along with Registrar CUI met the students and discussed the FYPs in details, he was satisfied with their progress and praised their performance during open house.
