Description:
Wood Hole Summer Student Fellowship 2025 in the USA is an excellent opportunity for students to work on a project that will provide meaningful results in future endeavors. The Science Department of WHOI and the Woods Hole Coastal and Marine Science Center of the U.S. This fully-funded fellowship will provide the participants with an opportunity to join seminars and an ocean sampling cruise onboarding, focused on data collection and sampling techniques associated with the advanced oceanographic instruments and technology.
Course Level: Summer Student Fellowship
Grants: Weekly stipend of $ 680.
- Additional support is available to help cover the cost of round-trip travel to Woods Hole, with a travel allowance of $700
- Housing accommodation.
- Exposure to the fundamentals of ocean sciences and engineering
- Familiarity with the advanced techniques of oceanography.
Eligibility criteria: Undergraduate students who completed their junior year at universities or colleges are eligible.
- You should not have completed your graduation.
- Students in science or engineering fields, such as biology, chemistry, geology, geophysics, mathematics, meteorology, physics, oceanography, engineering, and marine policy, are given preference, though other related fields may also be considered.
- Students, associated with the groups that are underrepresented in ocean sciences are encouraged to apply.
- Students must be interested in ocean sciences, marine policy, or oceanographic engineering.
