In the era where everyone preaches about self-love, defining how much self-love is too much has become next to impossible. Lack of self-realization leads to many mental health problems and one of them is narcissistic personality disorder, a very less known condition where one has a very high image of their own self and has tendencies to exploit others. Even in its earlier and so-called harmless stages where it is believed not to be a big problem it sabotages other’s mental peace and intoxicates relationships. I find it very crucial for our teenagers to learn about this term and problematic behaviours around them as they start exploring the world on their own.
