Railway is considered an easy, safe and affordable means of transport. It generates large proportions of revenue in many countries and many economies in the world depend upon their railway. On the one hand, the railway serves as a passenger transport service and on the other hand its a major source of transporting goods in the county in an organized and timely manner.
Today the trains are arriving late, the fairs have increased considerably, the employees are half of the number they used to be, the staff is underpaid, the trains are not up to date and the trains are facing mishaps. The system is working on old methods and it needs to be updated and modernized to the current needs and requirements.
This thesis provides an app to solve Pakistan Railway interdepartmental issues and streamline many processes. Pakistan Railway is operating on outdated methods which are unable to cater the needs of current requirements. This app will help in better scheduling of trains by collecting real time data of trains.
