The lives of the people of today revolve around the internet and social media. Because of the rapid advancement of technology over the last 20 years, people have fully become dependent on modern day gadgets. Another major aspect of modern-day technology is the social media which has deeply impacted the life of its users, particularly the youth. The young people of today spend a huge part of their day on these social media platforms.
Social media seems to have a great negative impact on the psychology of the young minds in a more deteriorating way. People are compelled to make up a fake life on social media in an attempt to ‘fit in’ with the online community and the rest of the world. To achieve this, people go to various lengths and do not show their actual life.
This project is an awareness campaign targeted for the youth to highlight the negative impacts of social media on the young minds. It’s an attempt to make them aware of these negative aspects of social media on their lives.
