For me, stammering is a shadow of the ultimate fear. I’ve lost many good opportunities just because of the fear of not being able to speak properly in front of people. It was a huge challenge for me, the laughter and mockery initially angered me but later I was able to use it as a stepping ladder to overcome the problem and give myself the self-love and acceptance which was much needed after which I finally started to not think of stammering as a disability. Every stammering person faces different kinds of difficulties while speaking. I am one of those stammerers, who face difficulty while speaking words that start with P, S, T and L and for this reason I have named my thesis “The Lost Letters”. So, my basic aim is to create an awareness campaign about the importance of stammering and how to deal with it in the form of an illustrated book of my own journey. I also want to communicate with people who suffer with stammering that this is your problem, try to standup for yourself, know your worth because everybody equally deserves goodness
