Since my childhood, I heard about some trivial but interesting beliefs and acts of people, which are thought to bring desirable luck or misfortune, or might be some indication for what would happen in the future. Such beliefs are known as superstitions, are a part of every culture, and can be seen all around the world. Superstitions have been deputed from the oldest of generation to present day generation. Most of these beliefs are based on thoughts, traditions, myths, and folktales, passed from our elders to us.
It’s interesting to look at how different superstitions have influenced our society and culture in different ways. The project research also reviews the authenticity of superstitions and what effect they have on the psychology of people and society. Most of the people have no explanation about the superstitions they are believing in. Through this project, I want to raise awareness and knowledge about superstitions. The design solution will provide people with information and educate them in an interesting way about common superstitious beliefs widely believed all around the world.
