Hira Nadeem

Ms. Hira graduated with a degree in Fine Arts from BZU in 2008. She earned her first Master’s in Visual Arts from Multan College of Arts, BZU in 2010, where she was awarded a Gold Medal. She then pursued a second Master’s in Arts, Craft, and Design Education at the University of Roehampton, London, completing it over two years.

In 2015, she began her academic career, teaching courses such as Illustration, Drawing Studios, History of Arts and Culture, Art Appreciation, Biomimicry in Design, and major Painting Studios.

She is currently the Associate Head of the Art and Design Department at COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, Islamabad. She also serves as Assistant Professor, Incharge of the Fine Arts Program, and Curator of Khad’o Khaal Gallery.

At present, she is coordinating the BFA Thesis for Spring 2025.

Dr. Shahida Mansoor

Dr. Shahida Mansoor, recipient of Doctor Degree in the field of Woodblock Printmaking from Tokyo National University of Arts (2001) has been exhibiting her works regularly in Japan and Pakistan. During her studies, she was awarded Tawara Award and Machida City Award in Japan, and later during her residence in Austria, she continued her experimentations in the Mokuhanga Technique. Presently she teaches in COMSATS University Islamabad as an Associate Professor and also serves as Dean of Faculty of Architecture and Design. She continues to promote Mokuhanga Art through workshops and seminars often in close collaboration with Japan Embassy Islamabad.

Samreen Asghar

Ms. Samreen Asghar, a visual artist and academic, holds a Master’s in Fine Arts (2003), later with a specialization in miniature painting from Punjab University Lahore. She serves as Assistant Professor at COMSATS University Islamabad, teaching Art, Architecture and Design studios since 2009 and contributing to academic leadership roles. With six solo shows and more than 70 group exhibitions to her credit, she has also completed numerous commissioned works nationally and internationally. Her art draws from South Asian and East Asian traditions, blending classical miniature techniques with contemporary themes. Actively engaged in research, workshops, and art education, she continues to promote traditional practices and environmental awareness through her work.

Muhammad Daud

Muhammad Daud, born in 1996 in Abbottabad and based in Islamabad, is a remarkable sculptor and a graduate with distinction from the National College of Arts. His work thoughtfully engages with contemporary themes such as identity, environment, and urban life, often through the use of experimental materials. With a refined sense of form and concept, his practice reflects both critical insight and artistic innovation. In addition to his studio work, he has over three years of teaching experience and is committed to mentoring young artists in their creative journeys.
