Have you ever found yourself in a split-state when your existence itself becomes a living contradiction? Your outer presence seems anything but contradictory while the inner conflict rises quietly beneath the hidden layers of your being. How you find yourself tiptoeing between the fragile and superficial constructs of identity and self. Always caught in between the gap of Real and Ideal self. I call this state “One but not Whole”. Unable to become anything in the pursuit of becoming everything. A representation of that fragmentation and disconnection. Regardless of whether you have or haven’t experienced it I invite you to experience it with me while I navigate through this state.

One holds the potential of finding themselves through various experiences and alchemising them. My thesis embraces contradiction as a creative force, using the tension between conflict and essence to build wholeness. Using art as a medium in my journey to accept, integrate and at last embrace my authentic self through Individuation.
