Structure with a weak core is bound to collapse: My thesis translates the psychological wound of the disconnected self into visual form. When a person loses touch with their inner core, they begin to search outward—seeking connection, validation, and comfort in external sources that only deepen the internal void. This search often leads to a fragmented identity, emotional confusion, and a loss of personal boundaries. The result is an ongoing inner conflict that leaves the self scattered, unheard, and uncertain of its own truth. Through sculptural forms, I give shape to this emotional landscape—transforming invisible psychological weight into tactile, physical presence. These works invite the viewer to confront what is often hidden: the cost of disconnection, and the longing to return to a place within where wholeness can begin.
