My work is a celebration of Nature, through the artistic study of birds. The primary method is field sketching in my locality. By being out in the natural world, feeling its rhythms and witnessing its marvels, by soaking myself in (natural) lives other than my own, and recording what I can, I sought out to embody the Emersonian ideal of "transparent eyeball". But my own individuality creeps in, and rather than collecting cold facts, I find myself participating aesthetically.

One has to only peer around the corner to find Nature thriving, despite mankind's relentless attempts at befouling everything. I can tirade beyond all tire against the perversion that our kind shamelessly engages in, but it is more important to show the transcendental wonders that are diminishing as the grip of Anthropocene tightens with time. Hence, I have attempted to record the sanctity of the natural world and its denizens.
